One Small Step

Neil Armstrong, as he became the first human to set foot on our moon, spoke one of the most famous one liners in recorded history..."That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". There's some debate about whether an "a" was unheard between "for" and "man". Regardless, the words pay tribute to the the many small acts required for any sort of progress and the eventual achievement of larger goals. Imagine how many prior steps, how many missteps, how many risks, how many experiments, how many small acts of faith were necessary to achieve the last big step from the ladder in 1969.

For every small step, there's a predecessor, perhaps an even smaller one, all of which are born from an idea. The key is not worry about whether the steps are big or small, but to merely take them. We can't go anywhere without going somewhere.
