We don't treat vacations as something we must do. Nor, meetings with friends, bike rides or playing a video game. But somehow we turn the tables when we need to choose to do something hard, uncomfortable or what we perceive to be necessary.
What if we changed our posture when dealing with the necessary from "I have to" to "I get to" ? How might this change the experience...and the outcome? What harm will be done to approach these things more positively?
Worth considering...since it's a choice we get to make.
